Prayers That Change the World

Bold, Faith-Filled Prayers

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more

than all we ask or imagine…” Ephesians 3:20

God invites us to pray boldly—not because of who we are, but because of who He is. Scripture overflows with examples of people who prayed with daring faith: Elijah called down fire from heaven, Hezekiah prayed for healing and was granted fifteen more years, and the early church prayed Peter out of prison. These weren’t hesitant prayers—they were full of trust in God’s power to act.

Jesus said, “If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer” (Matthew 21:22). This doesn’t mean we get everything we want, but that our prayers—when aligned with God’s will—can move mountains.

Today, we need to pray bold, faith-filled prayers:

C.S. Lewis said, “Prayer doesn’t change God. It changes me.” And yet, God does act through prayer—miraculously and powerfully.

So ask. Believe. Trust.

Prayer:

Lord, I come to You in bold faith, trusting in Your mercy and might. I pray for healing, for mercy in my life and our world, and for wise, godly leadership. Strengthen my faith and help me to trust You for what seems impossible. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
