💠 Fix Your Thoughts on Jesus

“Therefore, holy brothers and sisters,

who share in the heavenly calling,

fix your thoughts on Jesus.”

Hebrews 3:1

To fix our thoughts on Jesus is to center the hearts where peace abides. To fix is to fasten our gaze—to turn heart and mind toward one radiant focus and stay there. When our eyes wander, faith trembles; but when they rest on Christ, we stand firm amid the storm. Hebrews 3:1 calls us not to escape the world, but to anchor our attention on the One who holds it together. And as Isaiah 26:3 promises, “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”

The world tugs our hearts in a hundred directions, but clarity returns when our vision settles on Jesus. Worry clouds the spirit; trust clears the sky. To fix our thoughts on Christ is to see through His truth—to look upon life with His eyes and love it with His heart. It is to walk in obedience even when feelings falter, to remember that faith shines brightest in the shadows. When we lift our eyes to Him, fear dissolves, and the dawn breaks once more.

To live in a rhythm of attentive love—to listen for Jesus’s whisper and answer with surrender. Each time we turn our minds back to Him, peace hums softly beneath the noise of living. “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things,” Paul reminds us (Colossians 3:2). When our gaze is steady and our hearts rest in His nearness, every moment becomes worship, and faith ripens into joy.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, fix our wandering thoughts upon You. Still our restless minds, calm our anxious hearts, and let Your peace rule within us. Keep us faithful in heart, steadfast in hope, and joyful in trust— until all our thoughts are centered in You. Amen.
